I am a Board Certified TCA instructor. I teach three classes a week to seniors in my community. I encourage each participant to purchase this CD, and they do. My participants are encouraged by Dr. Lam's step wise teaching method on this CD and say it enables in their personal tai chi practice. Many of them have experienced amazing health benefits as a result of their own regular practice of TCA. I use my copy of this CD in both my personal practice and to prepare for my classes. Tai Chi for Arthritis is Awesome!
I teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls at a senior center and my students love this program. It has helped so many of the them have more confidence in their daily lives and with their balance. I have recently ordered this DVD for a least half of my students so that they can practice at home! Tai Chi is awesome!

Using the DVD in classes as a prize for completion
I use the DVD in my introduction to the 8 week program, specially the introduction and staying safe. The DVD does a great job of introducing the program to the new comers to Tai Chi, and participants find it useful understanding the program before classes start. I use the lesson 4 in my classes where Dr. Lam introduces the Dan Tian breathing method. He does a very good job in explaining the principles behind the deep stabilizer muscles. My participants buy the DVD after I encourage them to watch a sample in You tube to learn how it is set up. Participants that use the DVD in conjunction with the class, do much better in their Tai Chi practice than those that don't. Dr. Lam's messages after each lesson is to the point and powerful, and puts it all together. It is always a good resource as a novice instructor to have to brush on improving one's own Tai Chi practice. I give these DVD's as a door prize who attend 12 of 16 classes to encourage them to continue their practice and to promote future classes offered for them to participate. This DVD is very good tool to use in conjunction to the hand book and wall charts. Thank you Dr. Lam for creating these DVD's. Only, I wish there was one last section that goes through the entire warm up, 6 movements and cool down for those who need the guidance to do a daily continuous practice, a program on DVD that could last as a continuous practice for approx 20-30 minutes.... that is one common feedback I get from class participants who use this DVD in conjunction to my classes.

Updated version greatly improves the previous easy to learn version
I had the previous version of the Tai Chi For Arthritis, and really enjoyed Dr Lam's teaching style. The new version has immensely improved the lessons with improved step by step instruction, and simultaneous front and back views making it much easier to visualize and learn. Thank you Dr Lam for your great videos on Tai Chi. I look forward to following Dr Lam and learning more Tai Chi and QiGong lessons from your DVD's

Easy to understand
I am taking a Tai Chi class and bought this DVD to supplement the class. I appreciate that you can run through the lessons after you learn them so for a practice session you can jump ahead and do all the forms in sequence. I believe it would be better if you had soft music playing in the background. My teacher plays soft oriental instrumental music at our lessons and I think it adds to the experience.
