Giving this dvd to my two friemds who recently had strokes. I've been doing TCAFP for 10 years and know my remarkable mobility at age 83 is due to Dr. Lam's evidence-based health programs that I practice and teach.

I was able to attend an in-person seminar about two years ago for Tai Chi for Rehabilitation. I began to feel that I was forgetting small parts, though I had been practicing as much as I can. Watching the video, I felt that I was back in the seminar but could rewind and improve my technique. It was even better as Dr. Lam himself was my instructor and I feel that he is teaching me directly.

I bought this DVD for my husband, who for the last 5 1/2 years has been rehabilitating from a horrific vehicle accident which almost took his life. He sits to do the exercises, and stands to do the upper extremities movements. He has difficulty moving his legs, but at least he is building leg strength by standing. In the month since starting Tai Chi, I have noticed that he falls less frequently and has better balance. I enjoy doing this set as well and highly recommend it to everyone.

Awesome DVD - very easy to follow the instructor. I love doing the exercise in between classes in my community

Tai Chi for Rehabilitation movements are broken down step by step so you can follow the instructions. I stop the DVD player and practice the hand movements and the same with the feet movements. I feel like I am having private lessons with Dr. Lam and his group. Hopefully, you can tell I am having an exciting time learning Tai Chi. I made my own poster boards and have learned the movements so I can practice by myself. I must remember the movements are slow and knees bent but also work at the level that is comfortable for me. The movements have improved my balance, muscular strength and confidence.

When playing the video, the background was darker than it should be. Maybe it is my TV. The information and the alternate positions was great to have demonstrated.
