Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA)-12 lessons with Dr Lam - recommended by CDC (Scroll down to see the free first lesson)

In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) recommends it for fall prevention.

What is special about this DVD is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views. The unique music was composed with the rhythm and energy especially for this program!

It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format. Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

    Tai Chi for Arthritis

I had been doing another form of tai chi for over two years, and wanted to expand and learn new forms. My husband and I are currently taking the Tai Chi for Arthritis course in our city, and I bought the DVD to practice with at home. It's great, and Dr. Lam explains everything so well! I use it every day.

The DVDs are easy to understand and the repetition of each form makes it beneficial for long term storage.

Dr. Lams pant leg is a frustration for me. I can’t see his leg well enough to learn what he’s doing. Overall it is a well done teaching tool and will benefit me going forward, learning and mastering Tai chi.

I order the DVD for my students. I encourage them to watch the DVD at home, so when they are in class, they will have a better understanding of the form. I love it.

Wonderful tool to enhance practice between classes!

Posted by Dennis Fallo on 9th Nov 2023

A great program for beginners and I have recommended this to many of my students to use between classes. I have recently donated this dvd and the music cd for a blind auction. The organization assists folks with illness and some terminally ill. Many have wanted to experience Tai Chi benefits. I have also donated my time and free lessons.
