Tai Chi for Energy 2 - 8 Lessons with Dr Paul Lam

Duration: 5 Hours.

8 Lessons with Dr Paul Lam

Expand the unique synergy with Tai Chi for Energy Part 2; unleash more power in your tai chi. Dr Lam will guide you, step-by-step through each movement, and explore more depth of Sun and Chen style tai chi.

At the end of the DVD, Dr Lam demonstrates the entire set with both front-on and back-on views.

A Challenging Sequel

Dr Lam has added new Chen style movements from the 36 and 56 Forms to enrich your Chen style experience with more sophistication.  He explores the mysterious spiral force (Chan Suu Jing) and develops the synergy of both styles to deliver unbelievable power and vitality.

Dr Lam recalls "The more I practiced Tai Chi for Energy the more powerful the synergy became.  One day Part 2 hit me like a lightening bolt, as though the power could no longer be restrained."

I was looking for something more challenging than TCA1 and TCA2. I am surely getting the challenge I sought and am totally enjoying it. A must for anyone wanting to learn a few Chen moves and advancing their Tai Chi. ????

    Great add-on for Energy 1

Because I have been doing Tai Chi for Energy 1 of course I wanted to go further with my form to include Tai Chi for Energy 2. This is such an easy to follow instructional guide for Ultimate Energy. I recommend this DVD without hesitation. Excellent!

Tai Chi for Energy 2 may require an in-Person Class

Posted by Jeff Chern on 15th Feb 2016

Tai Chi for Energy is a great DVD because it's movements are "relatively" easy and I felt confident going into Tai Chi for Energy 2. But Energy 2's movements are a bit more complex, require more practice, and the nuances making it a powerful force probably will require attending a Dr. Lam workshop. The movements can all be done; there's nothing acrobatic, it's just that the subtle spiral moves require a teacher to "Put you in your place". I'm already checking the calendar. I guess I would echo Ron Smith's idea of a brief explanation of some of the moves in terms of their practical applications ( like the hook ).

Wonderful Expansion of Tai Chi for Energy 1

Posted by Ron Smith on 31st Jan 2016

I have great respect for Dr Lam after taking several classes from him and from viewing his DVDs. This DVD is a thoughtful expansion of Tai Chi for Energy 1 in that it provides detail of movements from front and back as well as insight into what is happening with your internal energy - spiral force. If I could change one thing, I would request some insight about an application for each of these three Chen-style movements, but I believe it is held back until you take a face-to-face class.
