    Tai Chi for Heart Conditions

Posted by Joani Mendoza on 24th Oct 2024

I pre-ordered the Tai Chi for Heart Conditions before attending Dr. Lam’s workshop in Kansas City, MO on Oct. 5, 2024. I was recently diagnosed with tachycardia! So I chose the place that has helped the most! That is having a daily practice of Tai Chi. I sorted a class in February and never missed a day of practice. The health benefits have been AMAZING!! After my very first class of Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, I researched Dr. Lam's website and order the DVD. After I received my recent diagnosis I went back to the site and purchased TCFHC. That was my 4th DVD purchase from Dr. Lam. The first DVD sold me on the INCREDIBLE way Dr. Lam teaches in ALL of his DVD'S! The way he breaks down the Forms in tiny little steps was and is so effective for me. Also, Dr. Lam’s gentle encouragement when I was beginning to do Tai Chi was PRICELESS! When I got/get frustrated with a new form I go back and watch the DVD for Dr. Lam’s encouraging words. I have purchased a total of 6 DVD'S and each and every one uses the same "tiny steps" approach. And TCFHC was the same and equally easy to follow! I am still working on learning Leisurely Tie and Coat, chen style. It may be the hardest form me, but I keep remembering what Dr. Lam’s teaching instructions are. I will NOT give up because I feel it might be my favorite form (when I get it) and also the most beautiful! So for anyone wanting learn Tai Chi I highly recommend purchasing the DVD'S! When I have shared my DVD experience with other students in my class, family and friends, they always come back thanking me over and over again. Thank you Dr. Lam and team for the excellent DVD'S!!!

    tai chi for heart peace

Posted by Barbara Janeway TCA in CA USA on 11th Oct 2018

I am enjoying this video because I need it for my own heart now. But also I teach TCA, and doing Tai Chi for Heart Conditions is a nice change that I do for myself now. Someday I hope to become certified to teach this new form, and I do recommend it to anyone who wants to feel peaceful when doing a form.

Excellent addition to Tai Chi for Health programs

Posted by Dennis Fallo on 4th Sep 2018

Very well done and very much a needed program! After going through the dvd program, I mentioned how wonderful it was to several places, including a regional medical center where I offer TCA. They can't wait for me to add this program as well! I hope that it will be offered as a certified program for myself and other instructors soon! It is so very rewarding to see so many folks, especially older adults, benefit from the Tai Chi for Health programs! I feel so special, to be part of the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Thank you Dr. Lam....See you in Maine!!
