Tai Chi for Energy - 8 Lessons with Dr Paul Lam

Duration: 5 Hours.

8 Virtual Lessons with Dr Paul Lam

We invite you to explore this unique program within the comfort of your home; Dr Lam will guide you, step-by-step, through each movement of Tai Chi for Energy. He will teach you the forms from different angles — with close ups, repetitions and diagrammed illustrations — while dividing each form into small sections so you can follow along with ease. Throughout the lessons, Dr Lam will explain the tai chi principles and how to use them to improve your tai chi.

At the end of the DVD, Dr Lam demonstrates the entire set with both front- and back-on views.

A New Revitalizing Tai Chi Program

This program is comprised of two different tai chi styles. Chen style is vigorous and complex, combining fast and slow movements with powerful spiral force. Sun style incorporates unique qigong (life energy) movements with agile stepping. These two seemingly contrasting styles have complementary internal energy.
Using his deep understanding of tai chi principles and over 30 years of teaching experience, Dr. Lam has carefully combined movements from Chen and Sun styles to produce a powerful synergy in Tai Chi for Energy. Thus, with regular practice and in a relatively short period of time, this program will help you acquire better health and wellness, internal energy, and ability to manage stress.

    Clear and complete instruction

Just what I need for home practice while learning new forms of Tai Chi. Lots of repeats and views from many angles help to master the details of each piece of each form.

    Fantastic DVD

Posted by Benny Mares on 15th Apr 2016

This is one of the best instructional DVDs I have seen. Dr.Lam's method of instruction is superior to any other. His methodical teaching style is very easy to learn as you watch and follow him step-by-step. If you have no access to an instructor, you can learn the forms from Dr. Lam's DVDs.

    GREAT RESULTS!

Posted by Unknown on 29th Mar 2016

This is the second DVD. We first bought Tai Chi fro Beginners, and now Tai Chi for Energy. This daily routine keeps us going! Chronic pains that we both had are gone, and only return if we miss a few days' workouts. We have received great benefits.

    Great New Format

Posted by Jeff Chern on 3rd Nov 2015

The format is different from that of the Sun Style 73 DVD. Tai Chi for Energy has 8 lessons and each lesson has it's own page. On each lesson screen you have: warm-up, cool down, all the movements up to that lesson, the new movement itself, and a special message from Dr. Paul. They're all on the same screen so there's no need to search through the menu for the item you need. As for the form itself; though it seems to be a short form, it's not necessarily an easy form. The Chen movements have your upper limbs doing different moves at the same time. It's more complex than it looks. To do it right means lots of practice and at some point, an actual class for corrections.
