    Tai Chi for beginners

Posted by Unknown on 9th Dec 2016

I found Dr Paul Lam on You-tube. I was looking Tai Chi beginning instructions. After viewing a few different instructors I found Dr Lam the easiest to follow. I have purchased the DVD Tai Chi for Beginners. I am currently working on lesson 2. I would definitely recommend for beginners.

    I'm dancing in my chair

Posted by Terrie on 7th Dec 2016

I used to dance almost every imaginable kind of dancing there is, rock n roll, country western, clogging, west coast and east coast swings, line dancing and even belly dancing and was just beginning to learn some of the latin dancing when I was hit with fibromyalgia and pretty much stopped everything, i even have a hard time just walking without being in some level of pain. I happened on to Dr. Lam;s videos and actually started crying because there is something I can do now to get back my life again. and on top of everything I broke my foot over 7 months ago and am still not walking as I should. I am so excited to get this thing started. I have just begun with just the warm up exercises, they will help me get limbered up so I can advance. I cant tell you how excited I am about my new venture. Will put up posts to tell how I am doing. Thank you for following your hearts desire. I know this will help me as it has helped thousands before me.

    Anyone can use it

Posted by Unknown on 7th Oct 2016

I really like the DVD. Many Tai Chi videos you must already know Tai Chi to do them. Dr. Lam has made his beginner video so that you can learn step by step. The only thing is I wish there was some background music to help relax as we practice with Dr. Lam.

The Absolute Best tai chi teacher Ever!!

Posted by Pegi on 14th Apr 2016

Dr. Lam not only knows his stuff, but he knows how to teach it!!! I had taken Tai Chi for a several months and couldn't retain any of the movements unless I was with other people who I could watch continuously. Then I purchased this Beginners DVD and Dr. Lam teaches the correct way for me, by having the student practice one particular movement for a few weeks and memorize it before going on to the next movement. He also tells all about the history of the movements in a simple and comprehensive manner. There are views of each movement from the front as well as from the back, making it that much easier to follow. I am SO happy with my purchase and will add to my Tai Chi learnings only with Dr. Lam's help!! Thank you SO much for having the patients that is required to be a really great teacher!!

This is my first time to learn Tai Chi and I find it very enjoyable. Dr. Lam's quiet, careful attention to detail is appreciated. I think "form" is very important.
