  1. GREAT teacher 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Nov 2019

The instructions are great. He goes slow enough that its easy to follow until you learn the steps. I can see that its going to take practice but well worth the effort. I’m surprised the workout is so intense. Keeping balance and developing muscle strength are my goals and this program is excellent for the training i want!! Wonderful way to learn Tai Chi! Thanks for an excellent program at a very reasonable cost!

  2. Love it! 5 Star Review

I am so pleased with this. I have been in a long term recovery from a fall and very serious concussion. My physical therapist recommended we try this and I am so glad! I started slow and can already tell a difference after just two weeks! I appreciate the slow movements and explanations and am sure I will stick with this, learn more and continue well after medical relesse.
    Thank you, I love it!

This is my first Tai Chi video. I did a lot of research before deciding to buy. From all the reviews and blogs I read this was the one for me. It is!! It’s great for beginners such as myself. I have only had it about a month now but am very much enjoying it.

We very much enjoy Dr. Lam's slow presentation as well as both front and rear views! Tai Chi is an excellent workout for both body and mind.

    Thanks very much!

  5. Great teacher, too soft to hear well 4 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Jun 2019

I love the way Dr Lam teaches a beginner. He breaks the movement down and repeats it 3 times. He turns around so you can follow him from behind. I am enjoying the practice. I would award 5 stars for the lessons, but I wish I could hear better. Dr Lam is so soft spoken that even with my computer enhanced for loudest volume, I can't hear Dr Lam. Could it be the DVD? I've tried all the things I can for my computer.

  6. Want to Stops Falls 5 Star Review

I am an Occupational Therapist and took a video course taught by Ralph Denner COTA. Published by PESI. Ralph Mentioned Dr. Lam in his course. The course was only able to teach some very basic moves.

Dr. Lam's beginner course is a great course with easy to follow demonstrations. The content is clear. I really find the explanations helpful. Hoping Tai Chi will become very popular in Evansville, Indiana. This is a more comprehensive beginners course. Can not beat the price point either. Great value!!

Looking forward to a slow steady progression using Dr. Lam's easy to follow courses.

  7. Great for the beginner and as a refresher 5 Star Review

I have been doing Tai Chi for several years and was bored with the tapes I had. After watching several of Dr. Lam's lessons online I knew this was a fantastic way to learn the fundamentals. Dr. Lam's teaching style is great and the book is also very helpful, as well as informative.

All I knew about Tai Chi was that it looked easy. Not so.
With the "Tai Chi for Beginners" DVD it made it a lot easier. Even though I am just in the Second week of using the DVD, my balance has improved. Great Dvd
