    A Great Place To Begin Your Tai Chi Journey

    I purchased this Tai Chi For Beginners video after seeing the free lesson on YouTube. I am 54 years of age and weigh almost 300lbs, I wanted something to help me get moving. I suffer from all the chronic health conditions of morbid obesity, plus really bad arthritis in my knees and a form of rheumatoid arthritis in spine. I am in constant pain, but I am told that movement is lubricant. In terms of pain management I have been told to meditate, but that has been very difficult for me to do. I find that when I am practicing Tai Chi I get into a meditative state quite easily. Tai Chi helps me to focus on something other than the pain. I love Dr. Lam’s patient teaching style, and how he explains things. I am on a fixed income so I cannot afford lessons out in the community. I load the DVD player six days a week and practice along with Dr. Lam, it feels like I am right there with him. Thank you Dr. Lam!!!

    Love this Tai Chi instructional video. Dr. Lam goes slow and it is learnable for anyone. I especially like that he teaches front and back for we who have hand and coordination issues.

    I was injured in a farm accident October 1, 2020 and was searching for Tai Chi to aid in my recovery. I am very pleased with this series

    Easy to Learn Beginning Tai Chi

    These tai chi lessons are laid out in a well-organized and simple manner that helped me understand the elements of each movement. I also enjoyed the qi gong exercises and tai chi history & philosophy. This cd has helped me restart my daily tai chi program, feeling confident to move forward.

    I like the program. But I think Dr Lam could explain more about when we should do the excercises in addition to the sequence. They are provided separately. and I am not sure if they are to be done by themselves or before or the entire sequence.
