  1. Great beginners video 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Mar 2017

This was recommended by a friend so I purchased the video and got started. Two weeks later I joined a class taught using the same style. The instructor asked how long I had practiced Tai Chi. She could not believe it was my first lesson.

  3. GRATEFUL 5 Star Review

Grateful is the best description I can give for this program. Having over the past year lost a good deal of my mobility and range of motion due to arthritis I was seeking a routine that I would be able to do, realizing the least active I was the worse I was going to get. Dr Lam is very clear in his instruction both verbally and by demonstration. His reassurance that Tai Chi is not to be accomplished quickly but is best when time is taken gives me the confidence to continue. He also is very encouraging to go at what you, the individual, are able to do. After I complete a lesson I feel that I have actually acomplished something, rather than beating myself up for not being able to "do it like a master". This program has helped significantly with my balance, coordination, range of motion, decrease in pain and ability to just slow my life down and enjoy it! I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a way to improve thier life. THANK YOU DR PAUL LAM!!!

  4. Great addition to the 1st Arthritis DVD 5 Star Review

I am familiar with Tai Chi for Arthritis 1 and was ready to add some new moves. I have been pleasantly surprised by the ease of the form and will enjoy adding it to the movements I already know. Great.

Make teaching Tai chi so much easier, when the student can practice at home.

  6. Part 2 of a Trilogy 5 Star Review

Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 is a good complement and addition to Tai Chi for Arthritis. The additional movements continue to allow the practitioner to learn a form without spins, kicks, moves that challenge one's balance or put strain on the knees. Combining the two DVD's give you a good basic form that can be done once, or several times a session. It can be done upright or with bent knees to get more of the legs involved. To continue in this exciting series I'd like to see a Tai Chi for Arthritis 3. With a few new moves like the diagonal single whip into the parting the horse's mane, and the lady works the shuttles or the four corners, it could extend the set further while still using the best movements to protect the knees, and not be too physically demanding. And it's good for the ego. You can practice in the park without worrying about losing your balance or falling!

  8. Awesome DVD! 5 Star Review

I also purchased this DVD so that I could continue to learn additional movements for myself and my students. I think that it is important as an instructor to continue to learn as much as possible on an on going basis.

  10. This will be a great next step for me. 5 Star Review

I am working with the first Tai Chi for Arthritis, and bought TCA 2 because it was on sale, knowing I will eventually want to progress and continue, I went through 2 and love it, for now I am taking my time with TCA and look forward to this continuation of the lovely fluid movements that I enjoy. Very happy with this program, just perfect. Dr. Lam makes sure to repeat movements enough times in each lesson so your muscle memory grasps them, then they become easy. I find the instructions thorough without being tedious and the views from the back are so helpful. Dr. Lam is an excellent instructor.
