    Wonderful Teaching Aid

I have begun to teach your Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 and purchased the DVDs so that students may borrow it. It is especially useful for those participants who will miss several classes. Hopefully they will watch your DVD and practice while away from class and will be able to continue with the class on their return. Participants have already asked if there is a book similar to your Tai Chi for Arthritis Handbook. Hopefully one will be published soon. It will be a great addition.

    Arthritis Part 2

Posted by Ralf Somack on 22nd May 2018

I took Arthritis and Fall Prevention Part I and became a certified instructor in 2017. Since then I have taught this class at 4 locations in the Bay Area. I practice Quang Ping Yang Tai Chi, Pa Gua, Hsing Yi and I Liq Chuan but I find that these disciplines, unlike Dr. Paul Lam's Sun style method too difficult for most seniors. My students want to progress to learning advanced forms which I have been able to master thanks to the Arthritis Part 2 video. Part 2 is consistant with Dr. Lam's unique approach to teaching tai chi as demonstrated in Part 1. It's like having your personal tai chi trainer. He patiently explains each move in great detail, repeating them many times from different perspectives. I have been practicing the internal Chinese martial arts for many years and can tell you that everything you need to learn the forms is presented in the video as long as you practice diligently and frequently refer back to it.

I have been practicing Tai Chi for several years, all the promises manifest through consistent practice. Arthritis 2 has been my go to reference for many years.

Even though Part 2 has moves which are a little bit more challenging than Part 1, Dr. Lam’s progressive step-wise method, clear explanations and views showing the forms from various angles make it easy to follow, learn and enjoy!

Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 is my 4th Doctor Lam DVD I've purchased. Dr. Lam has a unique way of breaking down the movements and explaining things so it's easy to learn. Tai Chi for arthritis 2 expands the lessons from the original Tai Chi for Arthritis in his usual style of making the lessons easy to comprehend.

Tai Chi Made Easy! Step by Step

Posted by Sharon on 20th Mar 2018

I love the instructional DVDs for Dr Lams tai chi forms and learning tai chi in the comfort of my home! The instructions are so clear and concise as the instructions have been methodically broken down into small segments easy to follow and learn. It reminds me of self-paced tutorials where you follow along at your own pace and rewind to review as needed. Its successful because there is detailed information and explanation and lots of repetition providing a supportive method and environmenl to learn Tai Chi.
