My wife and I just completed the class with a certified instructor and wanted to be able to continue the program at home.

    So helpful

Posted by Belinda on 22nd Feb 2021

I've been taking lessons with a certified instructor, but naturally when practicing at home I get confused. This video is so helpful for review, and for getting the details. Dr. Lam is so easy to follow, and he seems like such a kind and patient teacher.

Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 perfect for my needs

Posted by Sandy Brewer on 14th Dec 2020

I am a Yang Tai Ji instructor who learned TCA from a co-instructor in a shared space. It's a great project for beginners, and the front and back views are exceptionally helpful in small practice spaces. For the first time on this disk, I witnessed Dr. Lam's teaching method, and I find it well suited to "Learn by video" instruction. Perhaps it's greatest strength is also it's shortcoming: that the demo's are so well done that it's possible to learn the art from the video. As with all Tai Ji, no matter what the style, there is no substitute for at least coupling video instruction with live instructors and/or live player groups.

Qi Gong may help arthritis more in my opinion

Posted by Mert Molina on 2nd Oct 2020

The DVD and the teaching methodology was superb. I am also reviewing various Qi Gong sets that the Chinese Ministry of Health has recognized. The Tai Chi for arthritis does not have the same degree of body rotation as Qigong. I purchased with the goal of either teaching Tai Chi for arthritis or Qigong at the Senior Center in Spokane. This should not be perceived as a criticism of the Tai Chi for Arthritis. In Countries that do not have access to Qigong - Tai Chi for arthritis is the best program available in my opinion.

    Tai Chi for Arthritis

I really enjoy Tai Chi for Arthritis For beginners and the # 2 video. It has taught me to slow down and exercise without pulling any muscles, or concerns of falling. With having osteoarthritis and osteoporosis exercising has been challenging in the past concerning safety. Its truly has helped with my balance issues. I enjoy the music and friendliness of the video. I always fell good and nurtured after completing the program :-) I plan on learning more movements in the future, one movement at a time. Thank you Dr. Paul Lam

Wonderful way to progress from Part I

Posted by Connie Olsen on 8th Aug 2019

After using Part I and taking community lessons, I purchased Part 2 and am so glad I did. I practice daily and will be ready to take Part 2 in my community when it is offered. Thank you to Dr. Lam for teaching Tai Chi in a way that makes it accessible to so many people.
