  1. Nothing is perfect - thid is close 4 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Feb 2018

I really like that Dr. Lam takes the time to break down the movements into bite sized chunks. I like my personel instructor who often references Dr. Lam. But even he doesn’t take it in bits. Showing the foot movement then the upper torso/arms is beneficial and at least for me makes it easier to perfect the movement. I’m enjoying the DVD immensely.

I practice Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Health in both classes I attend. These two DVD's allow me to continue my practice at home. His instructions are easy to follow and the pace is right on.

I ordered Disc 2 as a follow up to Disc 1 to catch up in my class at the Senior Center. It arrived early and in great condition. I love the way it is set up and how I can pick up a little more detail every time i practice at home.

With the DVD it is very easy using it it is explained very well. I have never seen a DVD like this before. My sister n law has recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and she is using her DVD also. Thank you.

This was recommended by a friend so I purchased the video and got started. Two weeks later I joined a class taught using the same style. The instructor asked how long I had practiced Tai Chi. She could not believe it was my first lesson.

  10. GRATEFUL 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jan 2017

Grateful is the best description I can give for this program. Having over the past year lost a good deal of my mobility and range of motion due to arthritis I was seeking a routine that I would be able to do, realizing the least active I was the worse I was going to get. Dr Lam is very clear in his instruction both verbally and by demonstration. His reassurance that Tai Chi is not to be accomplished quickly but is best when time is taken gives me the confidence to continue. He also is very encouraging to go at what you, the individual, are able to do. After I complete a lesson I feel that I have actually acomplished something, rather than beating myself up for not being able to "do it like a master". This program has helped significantly with my balance, coordination, range of motion, decrease in pain and ability to just slow my life down and enjoy it! I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a way to improve thier life. THANK YOU DR PAUL LAM!!!
