Tai Chi for Arthritis - 12 Lessons - Free Lesson Below

Product Description

Tai Chi for Arthritis - 12 virtual private lessons with Dr. Lam - recommended by the CDC

Free first lesson

In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.com) recommends it for fall prevention.

What is special about this edition is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views to the music composed exclusively for this DVD!

It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format.  Dr Lam also incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

  1. Updated version greatly improves the previous easy to learn version 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jun 2017

I had the previous version of the Tai Chi For Arthritis, and really enjoyed Dr Lam's teaching style.
The new version has immensely improved the lessons with improved step by step instruction, and simultaneous front and back views making it much easier to visualize and learn.
Thank you Dr Lam for your great videos on Tai Chi.
I look forward to following Dr Lam and learning more Tai Chi and QiGong lessons from your DVD's

  2. Easy to understand 4 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jun 2017

I am taking a Tai Chi class and bought this DVD to supplement
the class. I appreciate that you can run through the lessons after you learn them so for a practice session you can jump ahead and do all the forms in sequence. I believe it would be better if you had soft music playing in the background. My teacher plays soft oriental instrumental music at our lessons and I think it adds to the experience.

  3. Excellent step by step instructions. Easy to follow. 5 Star Review

I love these lessons for seniors and people with challenges. Easy for me to teach using the step wise method. Great for any age and for beginners.

  4. Love Tai Chi 5 Star Review

I enjoy the dvd. I like to keep repeating each segment for improvement.

  5. There is no hurry in Tai Chi:) 5 Star Review

Wonderful, kind, and calm Traditional Tai Chi teaching combined with Western Medical Research.

  6. Wonderful pace 4 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Apr 2017

The pace of instruction includes repeats of the movements. The pace is excellent for those of us who are learning the movements for the first time. The menu allows for us to repeat easily. The only suggestion I would make for the next DVD is to vary the warm-ups.

  7. Excellent Beginning for Arthritics and Seniors 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Apr 2017

Step by step. Each lesson can be viewed and followed over and over until the movements become ingrained into muscle memory. Each lessons includes the warm up and cool down to make each lesson a complete workout.

  8. Best instructional dvd out there 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Apr 2017

I possess a large Tai Chi DVD collection. The TCA DVD by Dr Lam is by far the best instructional DVD out there, any style. This DVD sets the bar for all other instructional Tai Chi media. I own some pretty fancy Tai Chi videos that are basically worthless when it comes to learning. What good is it if you can't see or hear what the instructor is trying to teach?

Dr Lam must of worked hard with a team to bring easy to understand and follow lessons to anyone desiring to bring Tai Chi into their life.

Well worth your time and money.

  9. Tai Chi for Arthritis 4 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Apr 2017

I have learned 6 different forms of Tai Chi. I am doing this one to help myself and parents due to arthritis and injuries. It is nice that you show or explain how to do it if you need to sit or use some type of support.
I would recommend this to anyone with health issues who wishes to get back in shape and work on their strength and flexibility.

  10. More Challenging 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Mar 2017

While this set is much more challenging, it follows the same format and is very effective. I feel great!
